Just follow these easy steps to experience the freedom of CH Equestrian Horsebox Hire;
STEP 1
First, make sure you qualify for hire, by checking the criteria because you will need to provide us with some documentation.
STEP 2
Then, read our terms and conditions carefully. You need to agree to them before you book.
STEP 3
Next, get in touch to see when the horsebox is available and choose a date that suits you.
STEP 4
After that, to secure your booking pay a 25% non-refundable deposit online. We will then send you a confirmation email with all the details and instructions.
STEP 5
Then pay the remaining balance 48hrs before collection.
STEP 6
On the day of your hire you will need to leave a refundable £150 cash inspection deposit.
STEP 7
We will show you around the horsebox and give you the keys so you can begin your journey.
STEP 8
Finally, when your journey is over you are required to return the horsebox to our depot in the same condition as you received it. We’ll check it for any damages and refund your deposit if everything is in order.

EXTRAS
Collect the night before £25 (subject to availability)
Cleaning fee £50 (if required upon return)
Late return fee £20 per hour (if not pre-arranged)
Charge to re-fuel £25 + cost of fuel (if not returned with correct fuel level)
Additional mileage charge £0.75 per mile (for mileage in excess of the daily/half day allowance).

REQUIREMENTS TO BOOK
- – Driving Licence – copies front and back if a new style photo licence is unavailable, please provide a copy of your passport.
- – 2 x proof address verification e.g. Utility or other contractual bills – all documents must be dated within 3 months and have matching name & address.
- – Signed copy of CH Equestrian’s Terms and Conditions.
- – Signed copy of our hirer’s questionnaire.
- – DVLA licence summary check.
- – Pay a 25% deposit on the day of booking.
ELIGIBILITY
We offer our vehicles on a self-drive basis to drivers who;
- – Hold a full UK driving license for a minimum of two years.
- – Are not under the age of 22 or over 75 years of age.
- – Have currently no more than a maximum of 6 penalty points.
- – Have not had their licence suspended for any period of time within the last three years.
- – Have not had any driving insurance declined, cancelled or renewal refused or special terms imposed.
- – Have been involved in no more than one driving faults or two non-faults, motor accidents, theft or claims in the last three years.
WHAT ELSE?
- – There is a security and inspection deposit of £150 taken on the day of collection. This is spilt into three areas, £50 in respect of the horse area, £50 in respect pf the living/storage area £50 in respect of the cab are. All to be refunded on the vehicles return subject to adherence to the agreement.
- – The horsebox will be supplied with a full tank of diesel, which must be returned with a full tank.
- – The horsebox will be fully cleaned using a Defra approved disinfectant prior to each hire and must be returned in a clean condition.
- – Breakdown Recovery Insurance is provided.
- – One car may be parked at our depot however this is done so at your own risk.
- – Horses are not insured for transport and it is the hirers responsibility to insure their horses whilst in transit.
- – All horses must be fit to travel with up to date flu and tetanus vaccinations.
- – Passports must accompany all horses during transit.
- – STRICTLY NO DOGS or SMOKING allowed on our horseboxes.
